About the Coaches
Teresa Lacayo

A Colorado Springs native who grew up in D12. She started playing lacrosse her freshman year of high school and continued to play throughout college at Colorado State University and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Teresa has been coaching with Team 91 and coaching individual and small group sessions since returning to Colorado Springs. Teresa's goal is simple, "I want to introduce lacrosse to girls at a young age and grow/improve the game right here in D12".
Kaya Dyar

A sophomore and a varsity lacrosse player at Cheyenne Mountain High School. Kaya has been playing lacrosse since third grade. She started with a learn-to-play clinic and was hooked! She has been an assistant coach for the CMLC U12/U14 team for several years. When not playing for Cheyenne Mountian High School Kaya plays on Team 91's competitive travel team where she's been exposed to great coaching a good competition from around the state and around the country. When asked why she would like to lead the LTP clinics Kaya responded "I am so excited to help girls learn to play lacrosse. I hope some if not all of them get hooked on lacrosse just like I did when I was their age".
